This is just sad

This is from my newspaper today:

The website supposedly gets 10's of thousands of hits a day, but they can only manage 5 votes on an online poll that's been up for a week? Crimeny. I'm several years removed from my statistics class in college, but I'm pretty certain 5 people aren't even close to being an acceptable sample for anything. I'm also sure only 5 clicks out of 150,000 visits or so is even more pitiful.

I could probably post a poll on here on whether or not I should wear a tutu to bed, and I would get at least 20 votes in 24 hours. They have to be doing something seriously wrong. They can't even get employees to give it a pity vote.

It's embarrassing. The editor should've never let it get included. Of course, the editor should probably never have let such a boring-ass question be asked in the first place.

This week's poll is only a smidgen more interesting. For the love of God, vote. Right now it's at 10 votes.

I voted "Other." For us, it was all about Smear the Queer.
